About Me
Site's Purpose & Compatibility

The purpose of this website is for personal self-gratification, skills that can be used if I create commercial sites, and web development experience.

I created this website when I took a web design course. I had previously ventured into web design myself but had inefficient design. The course opened my eyes to how much my site needed a face lift.

Currently, it validates with HTML/XHTML validators I have used and is compliant with the XHTML 1.0 strict and transitional standards. The site is designed with the goal of being easy to navigate, read, and get content across easily. Currently, the site does not render perfectly in every browser but it works in most. Internet Explorer 6 and below can NOT render my site correctly at all. I can of course use conditional HTML comments but chose not to simply because it adds more code and gets to be more confusing when I or someone else needs to fix or edit my site. The website content will always be a work in progress.

Site History

I started playing with web sites when I was 14 years old. It was just for the fun of it. I had no real commitment. Since then my personal site has undergone 3 major, and many minor revisions.

If you are interested, I took the time to find parts of my old sites and am providing links to them below in no specific order. You can clearly see from visiting my legacy web pages that I did come a long way in web page design:

NOTE: Before I hosted the web pages and content myself, I distributed everything to different free web hosting sites so I may consume more space and bandwidth. Otherwise I would be forced to pay for web space and more bandwidth. This was working out well until I had 15+ different free web hosting accounts which became unmanageable.
WARNING: My legacy pages are all unmanaged and are likely to contain broken links or may not exist anymore.
Hobbies

I am currently 23 years old. My current hobbies involve playing games such as Battlefield 2 and Multi Theft Auto for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas PC version. I also enjoy reading news from slashdot.org. To keep my coding skills active, sometimes I log onto programming forums and attempt to help others with their issues. Also, I work on projects such as maintaining and adding content to my web site, BF2 Mapping, Radio hacking, and more. Just to say something random... driving a manual transmission car is fun. To make myself work more I like to double clutch. Automatic driving is boring and for wimps! ;-P
